A terrible place to take a loved under staffed, terrible food,great lack of housekeeping rooms are always dirty, Doctor does not want to communicate with the families. The list can go on and on. Just take this advise take your loved one else where
If you don't have good insurance they send you to the Alzeimers unit whether you belong there just so they can have an extra bed to give out. Care is mediocre and the place has gone down hill a lot. Always short staffed and that affects the level of care.,
My mother was recently a patient at Silver Lake Nursing and Rehab. Now that she is home I will say that I would not send my dog there for care. The Physical Therapy department was EXCELLENT - however the rest of her care was poor. The nurses were very unresponsive - whenever she requested assistance the nurse's station would send an aid to find out what she wanted and they wouldn't assist her either. Over the last 5 years my two aunts and my father have had returned stays at Glen Hill. They continually provide excellent care in a home environment. The nursing and therapy departments are excellent. Everyone is helpful. Recreation always has events going on including weekends. Big things - cruise week, haunted house, spas and variety shows. Social service department made sure they had everything they needed to return home safely. Glen Hill is the only place I would send my family.
In the past, about ten years ago, I had heard negative reports from patients about Norhrise. My dad has been here for over a week to get rehab after hip surgery. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to God for this place. Not only is it a clean, beautiful facility, but what has impressed me most is the considerate administration, nurses, nurses aids, dietary staff and PT, OT, SLP therapists. The nursing staff and aids to patient ratio is unlike any hospital or facility. The rooms are clustered around a nursing station and they co... read more

WARNING: What's Gone Wrong? EVERYTHING! They abuse the Medicare system by charging for tests & Services the Resident has never received Completely disregard POA Even though I am regularly there and actively Advocate for my mom, they send her out without my knowledge! She has had surgeries & testing done wo my knowledge. The Director & Charge Nurse have just said "OOPS!" The CNAs Hate their jobs, lye and are abusive. They have Stoken everything She Owns! If you have a loved one there, get a Nanny Cam while you get them OUT!

very nice, staff especially April are friendly and nice. Physical & Occupational Therapists were great. Only draw back is 4 beds to 1 bathroom. I would go again.
