We bought two very expensive night stands. The drawers were cheaply made ( not even dovetail construction) and the fronts looked like they were made from a much lower grade cherry than the top and frame. We have owned over 40 pieces of cherry furniture during our life and, although one expects grain variation, we have never seen any cherry that looks like this.
