*Child watch review I attended the YMCA this morning for a one-hour fitness class and used the Child Watch service for my one-year-old for the second time. I want to start by saying that childcare inside a gym is extremely important to parents like me, so I do believe the quality of care and interaction matters just as much as any other childcare environment. Our annual membership renewed in November 2025 and in December we learned that the enhance fitness class that we attended was full. This was the primary reason we attend, attended the YMCA in Mansfield. In early January, we informed the YMCA through the front desk that we were going to move out state. Old equipment, dingy smell. For being a "non-profit" - good luck getting out of a contract. Every other gym you can cancel anytime you want but not at a YMCA. I used it twice... I disliked it so much I still Got a gym membership at the LA Fitness Which is less expensive and twice as nice. Don't waste your time Dealing with The YMCA. I wouldn't have left this review had they just canceled my contract, but since they wont and I'm paying $50 a month for nothing I might as well.
