Staff members at MPRC are very nice and caring. Activities are well scheduled. They offer high quality meals and the portions are big enough for seniors. My mom and I both very satisfied of our stay.
Had to move my Grandma into Manotick Place. Barb was amazing! She is so kind and made me feel at ease.
The staff at Manotick Place could not be better or more helpful. They go above and beyond. It's not just a residence, it's a family. The activities are wonderful. Something for everyone. And if people don't find things to their taste, a small suggestion of what they might enjoy often finds a new activity created to suit. Food options are extensive and they cater to personal needs and preferences. Highly recommend.
It's been a year since my mom has moved in and she loves it. She is 90 years old. There are plenty of activities and her favourite is the weekly bus rides to various outings. There is bingo, exercise, on-site hair dresser, daily tea time and various performances. The staff is very respectful and kind.
I wouldn’t recommend working in the kitchen. Very toxic environment, management wants it to be run like a restaurant but has no idea what she’s doing. Food is not great either which makes for irritable residents.
