I had a great experience with Ron. I brought in two bicycles, one that was quite older in need of a lot of repairs and another newer bike that needed general tune up and new brake lines. The work was done well and quickly, for a very fair price. Ron was great to deal with and I will return again for any future bike repair needs.
Horrible experience. My road bike was not holding seal on tubeless tire and I was hoping for some assistance from this bike repair shop in Manotick. I asked if he had some Stan’s which I could add to tire which he said “no”. I then asked if I could have him assist with a floor pump as hand pump was not sufficient to get pressure to hold seal. What a great find! A local bike shop with an owner/operator that actually cares! I brought my Cannondale road bike in for conversion to gravel. Manotick Cycle completed the shift cable replacement, but also checked my work on new brakes, adjustable stem extension and new bars - fixing a few mistakes along the way! That's going above and beyond! Best of all, he test drove it and described it as a "Snappy Roller!". Made my day! Heartily recommended!
Great guy, called at 13h00 on a Saturday and told him my son's new e-bike got a flat on Thursday, he said bring it in and it will be done by 16h00 and it was. Great service and great price. Highly recommend.
Update: Today I returned to the shop after 2 years. Happy to report there is still great service! Cash is good to have doing business at this location. _____ I required a new front tire and inner tube for a mountain bike from the late 1980s. He was able to supply one and install it the same day. Lucky for me! I was able to go for a ride that afternoon. Will go again for service as required. You should too!
