Absolutely appalled. We were verbally abused by one of the manly independent drivers this morning from the airport. He demanded an additional fee of $6 be paid that was not showing on the meter - this is illegal. You cannot demand more than is showing on the taxi metre. When we disagreed, he told us that we will have ‘bad things happen to us’ and that we will ‘get cancer’. Disgusting behaviour. This is why people use uber.
