Someone better tell that pos treasurer to get in the office and do her job. Went to pay my personal property tax online with my bill in hand and it says my account “can’t be found or is invalid” which is bs because I have the number in front of me. They try to rob people and get late fees off them by not answering the phone and know people at work can’t leave to come in person. If they charge me a late fee I’ll be sure to take it up in the court system.

Don't move here! First, there's one lady who's rude and short with her answers. Secondly, you are still required to pay a full property tax bill after moving because City of Manassas Park is not a prorated jurisdiction. So, beware before you move there.

I called this morning and their customer service representative was one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. She was short with me when I asked questions, dismissive and at the end of the call, just hung up without saying bye and in an irritated fashion, like I was disturbing her day. Ridiculous.

My wife and I sold our home and moved directly because of this city's poor administration and their use of the police department as a tax collection agency. Their coffers are empty because they're unable to budget correctly and they will not hesitate to shake out your lunch money to compensate for that fact. Ask yourself if they deserved a new city hall while you dodge the same pothole in the road that's been there for years.
