Just leaving a review in hopes that their average changes. I had a terrible experience with the previous commissioner of revenue & Ms. Lucy has been outstanding. It took a year for the previous woman to fix some issue & Ms. Lucy was able to do it in 1 day. Really appreciate the new staff.
Highest personal property tax in northern virginia but has worst public service in northern Virginia, also one of the lowest rated public school in Virginia.
Haven’t lived in Manassas Park since 2021 and we are still dealing with property tax issues with them. I’ve never experienced this compared to other counties it’s insane. The best part of all is they don’t even tell you if there’s a payment missing. Just years after the fact. Seems really disorganized. I emailed and didn’t get a response back on the last one I sent. What. A. Mess.
Someone better tell that pos treasurer to get in the office and do her job. Went to pay my personal property tax online with my bill in hand and it says my account “can’t be found or is invalid” which is bs because I have the number in front of me. They try to rob people and get late fees off them by not answering the phone and know people at work can’t leave to come in person. If they charge me a late fee I’ll be sure to take it up in the court system.
