We had recently rented a car, and we definitely have mixed thoughts. To start with - the ease of using this company was very good. The car was where they said it would be waiting for us, and we didn't have to worry at all about our late flight coming in. That peace of mind was great. Drop off, etc, was very easy too. Manaloha rentals was awesome. We chose the older car as we didn’t want anything fancy and just needed a vehicle to get us from beach to beach. We had an old Nissan with tons of dings on it, but it was perfect. The AC worked, there was enough trunk room to throw all our beach gear in for the week and it always got us to where we wanted to go. I rent cars quite a bit here on the island of Maui and let me tell you it’s not always an aloha filled experience, but I have found my spot here at manaAloha Rent-A-Car with the help of Jeremy. I was able to get cars on the road so fast I could barely believe it was happening. The cars were clean and the experience was nothing short of amazing if you’re looking for a great car at the lowest price on the island this is your spot and maybe you’ll be lucky and Jeremy will be working at the desk.
It was a little weird at first renting a car from Manaloha, a non-corporate, local car rental company. But I got over it as soon as I got my confirming reservation email from Sergio. The info was clear, concise, and lacked all the corporate neurosis I usually get from a big business. It was easy to provide my existing insurance info to them, and Sergio encouraged me to "keep in touch" if our plans changed as our visit neared.
