I was disappointed with the ICL’s lack of responsiveness to new evidence and felt the priority was case closure and Legal Aid funding, rather than genuine advocacy for the child.
Everything about my initial consultation was very wrong. Lost communications, incorrect advice. I left my meeting with an angry lawyer yelling after me.
Disappointing experience with Maloy Law. Initially engaged under a fixed-cost agreement, but it took a full week for them to communicate a conflict of interest. If you require prompt, transparent, and professional service, I’d recommend reconsidering. My consultation with Jamilia Sharpe was neither the full hour promised nor, in my opinion, a genuine engagement.
