I contacted MEJ in June 2022 after tripping on an unsafe path resulting in a breakage to my elbow. MEJ took on my case and ACTG’s initial response to my claim was that the ACT Government Solicitor advises that the Territory denies liability with respect to your claim and claims contributory negligence for at least 50%. From what I can ascertain this was sent without any evidence of support and this set the tone to ACTG’s approach to my matter. Thomas Wallace-Pannell SC and MEJ - a blessing of compassion and care for me consequent to me being a victim of child abuse in a Canberra school (1965).
