This shop has been an awesome to have in town! They’ve gotten my tri bike running perfectly and my mountain bike dialed in, too. The mechanic is top-notch, skilled and clearly knows bikes inside and out. The owners are friendly and genuinely care about getting your bike running right, and getting you in a new bike that’s right for you and fits well. Been going to Maklin Bike Shop for years. Steve and Lynn are awesome. Their new shop in Scandia is really nice. Every tune up and repair has been great. An good example was we had problems changing new tires we got from maklin's on my wife's high end bike so took it in and Steve showed her how to get them on. Lynn called later to make sure we were good. Great service!
Maklin is an incredible bike shop with two a great family that runs the place. They were a huge help sizing and finding the bike shoes I wanted. Highly recommended checking them out if you’re interested in cycling.
Im fairly new to biking. I called around to several shops asking for advice on how to make my bike faster or if I should just get a new one. Maklins gave me the best advice out of all the shops. Steve ( the owner ) is very knowledgeable! He did a bike fit, new seat, new bars, and gave me good advice on riding in general. After my visit to Maklins I was 2 mph faster.
