Worst customer services in town. Shipping guy.. maybe not happy with work .. lazy service
I have a pair of DC18RC chargers. While one is nice and quiet, the other one is very noisy and vibrates like crazy since new. I was trying to obtain the replacement cooling fan under warranty but was told I must 1) RMA it in, or 2) drop it off in person because they cannot send out replacement part under warranty without checking the unit. Option 1 will take 2 weeks in mail plus whatever time they need for inspection and repair. I called Makita to enquire about purchasing a part for a drill. The technician I spoke with confirmed that they had the part in stock, informed me of the price,and let me know the hours they were open. Before letting me complete the call, he suggested I first check the tool for certain known issues caused by obstructions of dirt and use of the tool. I did that, and he was right.
