MAKEart Studio with Heather as an instructor is simply the best! I have taken the adult watercolor classes as someone with very little experience, and it feels approachable and genuinely enjoyable. There’s something really special about walking in, slowing down, and getting to feel like an artist for a couple of hours. We love MAKEart studio and Heather! Both my children and myself have taken classes with Heather. Her classes are a great way to learn different artistic techniques and then apply them in your own creative way. My kids have loved Witches Academy and various summer camp classes and always look forward to the next. Thank you for providing such wonderful opportunities in DG!
We Love MakeART Studios and Heather Klausa is AMAZING! My 10 year old is loves attending the various classes and camps at the Studio. The classes are fun, engaging and always different. I have taken Heather's No Pressure Watercolor classes for adults for the past 3 years. Heather is patient, kind and gives through explanations. I cannot recommend MakeART Studio enough!
Heather's a real treasure! A wonderful artist and a patient teacher who generously shares her skills and her space. My kids loved the time they spent in her company, and the art they came out with was — and remains! — some of the best they've ever produced.
MAKEart is a gem in Chicagoland. I am so grateful it's right here in Downers Grove. Heather is an exceptional artist and educator. She is brilliant, kind, patient, hilarious, and so talented.
