In love with all things Maison Balzac, so refined and chic, Elise is a designer extraordinaire. Personal favourite is anything amber coloured, and whenever the unusual comes to play 🤎 a must visit for any design enthusiasts.
Was gifted the large Gaspard vase and after the second use the colour started chipping off. I’ve not used any detergents or scourers on it. Only filled the vase with water. Unfortunately I didn’t receive the receipt when gifted. For the price paid (retail $250) this should definitely not happen. Terrible.
I bought the “grande volute candle holder” online and I am sad to share that I was disappointed when I saw the real life object: oh no! not “Grande” at all! it felt very “lightweight”, so thin glass that it looks, dare I say, like a Barbie accessory from my daughter’s playroom! My husband said it looks cheap…Oh no! I’m sorry, there, I said it! I thought Maison Balzac looked delightful online but in real life it feels very light weight, very thin, especially for that price. Oh mon dieu! Pardon!
Maison Balzac is a pure delight, there is a genuine love that has been imbued in every element of the offering. I purchased candles and was fortunate that Elise just happened to be in the store. With this said, the stories associated with the scents were so warming. Pop in, such a pleasure.
