I've been with Mainstreet (previously Union Gas Credit union) for the last 30 years. Today I asked to have overdraft protection added to my account. I've had a mortgage with them for approximately 15 years as well as a few fully paid off previous loans (vehicles, school). Was told a full credit check would be needed on myself and my wife that would affect our credit score. I guess the years of constant payments and loyalty mean nothing. I refinanced a 10 unit building with Mainstreet CU. I worked with Kathleen and Karen and the process was smooth from start to finish. They stuck to the timelines and delivered on what they promised in our initial consultation. Their online portal kept everything well organized and made document submission a breeze. I will definitely be going back to Mainstreet CU for future purchases and refinancing.
Always love working with financial advisors& tellers. They are so very helpful. There is absolutely no down side to main-street credit union. All people are beyond helpful. Ive never regretted switching institutions years ago.
