The customer service is very rude and horrible. Not a good company to work with.
Stay away and do not use. A rep signed me up three years ago and told me he there would never be any fees. I never used the card processing he told me the account was closed. Three years later just now I get a bill from collections saying I owe them money. I called Mainstream Merchant and they told me its a new yearly fee and they refuse to waive it as I have never used their services and when I was told the account was closed three years ago and never used them. Stay away from these people running a scam.
Have been with Mainstream for a long time. For several years the fees very low, on average they were around 1.4% every month. During this last year they have increase to 3.5%. The website is gone and they do not answer the phone. I will be switching to someone else on Monday. Gave one star because i could not give none.
DO NOT USE!!! The fees are ridiculous. Regulatory fees ($259), monthly minimum fees. They charged me a $350 cancellation fee after being with them for 3 years and were not willing to refund any of them. Not the way to treat small businesses. Much better processing companies out there. Do not use.
They have been taking money out of my business account for over 2 years after canceling with them and the only response they have had is that "they are valid amounts that they cannot refund". Terrible customer service after STEALING from me for the last 2 year.
