The wheels have officially come off this program. In the time I have been a patient the office has moved from Augusta to Waterville, back to Augusta. 2 surgeons have left and the PA. They are not really informing the patients they have no surgeon. I have some real concerns as to why the high turnover rate but also the lack of communication and the years long wait is what has caused me to transfer care. Although they are good doctors, the office staff turned my partner's surgery into a class war. We are not rich. We have been getting the majority of my partner's protein goal from meat. My partner called to get a letter of reasonable accommodation for a freezer so they can store meat. They were harassed about being able to get protein from more EXPENSIVE methods, which we cannot afford. They need to realize they are not surgery just for the rich.
