I have traveled all over the US and around the world and I have received acupuncture in so many different places. Out of all of them and I mean truly all of them, Maine Zen Den is the absolute best. I had been suffering for back pain for several months. My daughter suggested I try acupuncture, when usual pain relief methods are ineffective. My insurance website suggested Donald Charlson for Acupuncture. I was able to get a same day appointment for a consultation and a treatment. Don and his staff were very welcoming and easy to talk to. I have had a very good experience at Maine Zen Den. The acupuncture I received greatly reduced my sciatic pain. The office is welcoming and comfortable. The acupuncturist, Donald Charlson is professional and meticulous. I highly recommend him.
I had my first appointment and immediately bought a 24 visit package for myself and my husband. I cannot say enough about Don, Michelle, and Heather. I have struggled with allergies my entire life. When I first moved to Maine 6 years ago, they became severe. After being tested for allergies it was determined that out of 40 things tested for, I was allergic to 30, and of those, severely allergic to 20.
