Always a treat going to Main Street Trading Co. So many decorating ideas. Qnique. Fun place to take out of town guests
New owner is wonderful, and the shop is just as great as always! Nice to look around and of course smell the candles. Very inspiring
My daughter and I visited this shop while traveling. It was a lovely shop but the two women working there followed us into every room! Even though we would have shopped longer and bought more they made us feel unwelcome. I cannot recommend for this shop for tourists.
I found it very uncomfortable to shop at this store. Its in an old victorian home with lots of rooms and everytime I looked up one of the two ladies from the shop was following me into the next room. I would have loved to have looked around more, but it was obvious that I was not welcomed as a tourist. And at the register when I paid for my purchase, I asked them a question and they completely ignored me to attend to a local. Sadly, I would not recommend this little shop to tourist.
So many wonderful and beautiful things packed in this treasure trove gift shop!! More than worth the 25 minute ride out to Macedon!! The staff was super helpful in helping me pick out items that I was envisioning for my mantle --- things I wouldn't have found on my own. LOVE this place and the staff! I will definitely be back!
