The Main Street Bank ATM on Main Street in Ayer is jamming while dispensing larger withdrawals because it is only loaded with $20s. The cash dispenser jammed while I was attempting to remove the ridiculous number of bills it chose for my withdrawal. Before I could pull them all out the machine closed the slot. I was shorted $80 in total. Bank employees stated that there was nothing they could do to compensate me and I had to take it up with the bank that issued my debt card. Everyone at Main Street Bank was very responsive when we had a critical deadline to have documents signed quickly. Great communication and pro-active action to get the job done. We really appreciated the effort.
Main Street Bank is truly a community bank. When approached to support the Shirley Pumpkin Fest, they were absolutely happy to be the main sponsor. This is a festival for all in the community with the purpose to bring family and friends together to have fun and celebrate the season. I am happy that Main Street Bank is part of this great community! It has been a pleasure to work with them!
