Great group of guys who work here. Fast turn around for repairs. They take pride in educating their customers rather than just trying to make a sale. They want to ensure that you get the parts that work for your style of riding. I've learned a lot about my bikes just by bringing them to Main Cycle and chatting with Lou and Anthony, 2 of the employees here. And Anthony tells the best dad jokes.
Great shop with super friendly and helpful staff. They've helped me find little pieces of hardware I've needed for my own builds at home, they have great selection of bikes and parts, and I just picked up a brand new bike from them today where they were super kind and walked me through all my questions and gave me some awesome tips. One of my favourite stores in Hamilton! :)
Definately have the knowledge. Good advice ans good selection.
Called in the morning about a flat rear tire. Man on the phone was super nice and said I can bring it in whenever I would like. I showed up and within 10 minutes I had the bike assessed, after showing me the problem, 5 minutes later the tire and new tube was put on and brought out. Charged as super fair and cheap rate at $27, I STRONGLY reccommend you bring any bike related issues to these guys, affordable, fair, fast and kind
I bought a brand new bike from here and The thin washers that go on the pedals for the cranks was missing, this is an important piece, it helps prevent stripping of the threads on the cranks where the pedals go. Make sure you go over your bike a second time after buying it yourself, it might come with issues and need a mechanical go over.
