Source for Golden products, journals, watercolor and handmade papers – This store has a good selection of quality art supplies. Golden fluid acrylics are hard to find in craft stores, if not impossible. This has those as well as heavy body acrylics, mediums and a knowledgable staff.
doing business with main art I bought art supplies here and then found the manufacturing company was selling them on the net for less than half the price main art was charging. I have been a customer for some time but never again.
Main Art is a Richmond staple VCU has a decent number of art students and as such we are in need of some great art supply stores -- Main Art is such a place -- they have a terrific selection, beautiful papers, fair prices on frames and a helpful staff. Often you can just walk through the store and get new ideas from all the displays they have up!
Small Space, Great people The staff in main art are very knowledgable about most forms of art and willing to spend great amounts of time helping you find the right tools for your job. Students from the local college recieve a %10 discount on art supplies and thier selection of matte board styles and colors is outstanding.
Great art supply store Main art has a pretty small space and it seems more so with all the things that they pack into it -- They have an excellent selection of papers and supplies for whatever kind of art you are into
