Horrible Experience I can honestly say this was the worse experience that I have ever encountered as a customer for any product or service that I was going to buy! I was told on multiple occasions I would receive a callback regarding a boat cover starting in late April 2013. After a few days of calling, I decided to the shop in person on April 27th. Excellent Customer Service Excellent Customer Service. I've been using Mahopac Upholstery Shop for over ten years. They have recovered all my furniture twice (also fixed bottom of warped barrel chairs for free). They do a beautiful job. They also are very accommodating if you want something fixed that may have resulted from a misunderstanding. I've never had a problem. One time I had a leather coffee table recovered and one of the leather buttons kept popping off, they came back three times, picked up the whole table, fixed ... read more
Hit Or Miss... This shop does an okay job. Their prices vary as it depends on who gives you an estimate. I have had 3 items recovered here in the past few years. The last upholstery job I definetly overpaid when the receptionist decided she was qualified to give me a price quote. She also mistook my order and I had to have 2 cushions remade using material at my own expense. I'm looking for a new upholsterer.
