My mother lives in full care at Magnolia and I am very pleased with the staff, activities and care she receives
I remember well the reluctance my Dad had in going to a 'nursing home' as he called it. I told him retirement homes are not all equal and he finally agreed to visit Magnolia. We were given a tour of the residence's common rooms where they offered various activities and a look at the available suites followed by a lunch in the dining room and an explanation of the extras that came with the rental. The people here are nice, but unfortunately the food is vile and not nutritious at all. Especially if you are diabetic, this is not the place for you - their diabetic options are full of sugar and carbs and taste awful.
