Quaint Mothership of Magnolia Bakery – I enjoyed my first visit to this MB branch on April 4, 2009. There was no line outside the bakery. They have the prettiest Easter cupcakes as compared to the other branches of MB. My husband and I went to all the MB branches: Downtown, Midtown and Uptown on this same day:) I love their cake display on a table which gave the ambiance more like a country store. One of our favorite things to do in NYC – In early 2006 my husband and I were planning our first trip to NYC. We were trying to gather as much information as we could about places to eat and visit. Great cupcakes! – The cupcakes are incredible; I also like Crumbs but these are not as cloying. I had a red velvet cupcake and a devil's food cupcake with meringue frosting. Despite the menu stating there's a minimum order of 12 for the special cupcakes, I was "permitted" to buy 2 cupcakes (this was my first visit and I didn't even see the minimum order requirement until I returned to my office and checked the menu on the website). Best cupcakes in the West Village – I agree with "singerchevannes". It's simple, the best homemade cup cakes in town! For all those complaining of the $1.50-$3.00...it's a business people. If you're too tight then don't go - S I M P L E! singerchevannes, you may want to try the Hummingbird Bakery on Portobello Rd in Nottinghill, London or they have one in South Kensington. . The idea probably takem from Magnolia cafe.
Amazing baked goods – Loved the baked good hear...chocolate croissants are a real treat and with a great cup of coffee you can't go wrong for dessert.
Magnolias cupcakes are amazing – Magnolias chocolate cupcakes are the best I've ever tasted, the chocolate frosting is so rich with real chocolate, its amazing!!!
