Sell T-shirts get more in stock, get a website – I was at the bakery on Bleeker Street last summer and the cupcakes were great. But I was very dissapointed that the supply of t-shirts was so low. I have been trying to find out a way to order some. When I asked while I was there they were not very uninformative and said something about a website being in the future. If this is true could you please let me know.I really think your missing out on a great sales market in the t-shirts.

SERIOUSLY NOT the best Cupcakes in town. – I don't know why there's such a big hype about the cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery, charging 3.80 plus tax for a cupcake it should just melt in your mouth and make you want more. I had half a cupcake and I was sad to be disappointed that it wasn't the best in town. I heard all the hype about it, being new to New York, and I thought i was trying to best of the best, and all I got was a bunch of unnecessary calories. I just hope that the next dessert there is worth my hour at the gym.

Cupcakes=2 stars | Other desserts =5 stars – I was so surprised to see this hole-in-the-wall looking place actually had a line of people waiting to get in. First off the cupcakes are OK. They're not even that good. The icing is way too sweet and the cake portion is dry as hell. Other than the cupcakes I love every dessert this bakery has.

Forget the cupcakes, try the Icebox cake – Very overrated. Waited in line for 45 minutes for one cupcake. No flavor to the cupcake, but to my suprise we also bought a piece of the Icebox cake. Unbelieveable. Best cake I have ever had. I will never buy a cupcake from there again. Go for their pastries instead.

BEST cupcakes – Yes.. I'm a big big fan now :) what a wonderful bakery - everything looks divine - the cupcakes are just YUM and after the first taste I knew I'd be one of those people standing in line on the weekends (and I did!) I dont live in NY but I will go back for more on my next visit :)

what happened here? – after dying to try magnolia bakery's famous cupcakes, i finally went to the shop today, only to be greatly disappointed. i purchased 8 cupcakes, ($18) total, 3 chocolate, 1 vanilla, 2 red velvet and 2 pumpkin. the chocolate cupcakes had no taste whatsoever... i think someone forgot to add salt and vanilla to the batter. the frosting was hard and wayyyy too sweet... the cupcakes were also on the dry side. the look of disappointment on my boyfriend's face was priceless when he finally bit into his red vel... read more

They're just cupcakes folks – I don't see the big deal with this bakery. It's crowded and they have overrated cupcakes that they charge too much for. There are better bakeries elsewhere.

Worth the wait, but make your own decision. – First, with all of the hype about Magnolia Bakery you may be disappointed that these cupcakes don't have the answer to life, but they are pretty darn tastey! I've eaten quite a few cupcakes in my time and fresh Magnolia's cupcakes are amazing. It should be obvious that cupcakes will dry out after sitting out for a little while, but they never sit there for long at this adorable Greenwich Village Bakery. The price and limit might seem inappropriate, but they are in place for a rea... read more

Just gross – Definitely a huge disappointment. I waited on line for over an hour expecting the most amazing cupcakes on earth. Not only did they look average, they tasted disgusting. They were so dry and the icing was way too sweet. There was literally 1.5 inches of icing on top and it tastes like pure sugar--it really was so gross that I couldn't even eat it. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.
