Don't understand how you can take a check from a customer to this bank from this bank and cannot cash it doesn't make any sense it's garbage bank wouldn't use it if I were you
I contacted PenFed Credit Union in September 2022 because of their favorable Google reviews. I was after a good bank to put a few dollars ($10,000) in a CD. All of my communications were by phone or computer and what I LOVED was I never heard 'No, or We can't do this or that'. I was so impressed that I opened several accounts with them (checking, HELOC, cedit card, etc.). I'm 60 so I've dealt with many banks over the years but Pen Fed is #1 with me!
They give you a loan for a car with two months no payment to then charge you interest on those two months. Never again will I use this credit union.
