After waking up the next day, both of my shoulder blades were extremely painful—it hurt even with small movements. I also clearly asked both the receptionist and the therapist to focus on my lower back, but they barely massaged it. Now my lower back still hurts, and my shoulder blades hurt even more.
Disappointing experience for 60min Remedial massage. 3 different staff members attended to me. Massage was 80% back which was painful & rough. Not once was I asked about pressure & was left alone whilst different staff swapped. Overall experience very poor & would not go back again. $100 price charged was a let down & not recommended.
It was supposed to be a 60mimute remedial massage, but instead, it was 60 minutes of elbowing on my shoulder blades (the lady said it was stiff, and I kept telling her it was my shoulder blades!!), excessive cold (not even body temperature) oil all over as well. She even tried to do an unrequested facial splashing the cold oil all over my face without any warning and managed to get some oil in my mouth as well. I am in so much pain today from all this. I am utterly disappointed.
Really bad. I was ending it at some point. Not worth it if you try to get a back massage. He was watching things on his phone and chewing
