I went to Maggie Valley Nursing Home for rehab after a short stay in the hospital. I was very impressed with all the Nurses, CNAs, PT and OT helping me and all the residents in the facility. All of them had very caring Hearts ♥️ and took time for every need of all the residents. We could do fun crafts, special people would come in and 🎶 sing. Maggie Valley has a low CNA to patient ratio which allows optimal care for each resident. Many agency CNA’s are present but come with extensive experience. However; The director of nursing Marydith Parton RN, promoting nepotism, through many employed family members, ensures staff favoritism and unfortunately this is where the issue lies with patient care.
