I had a horrible experience with this tax preparer. Mr. Madison filed my original 2023 tax return without my authorization, and despite me explicitly telling him not to amend anything, he still filed an amended return nearly a year later—on May 15, 2025—without my knowledge or consent. Because of his unauthorized actions, I now owe the IRS and have been hit with penalties and interest for something I never agreed to. After nearly 10 years as a client of Madison Tax Services, I can unequivocally say that this business, and particularly the owner Darryl, has demonstrated the most shocking level of negligence and unprofessionalism I have ever encountered. My recent tax filing experience was an absolute nightmare, riddled with errors that were entirely Darryl's fault. Excellent service. I have been using them for years and they have never let me down. Wosleyn is very patient and great to work with.
I had scheduled an appointment ( no follow up call/text/email from Madison Tax) , I still showed up 30min early , the office is locked ...I tried to call several times and no kind of voicemail system ...this is the first terrible experience with them out of many years of service provided. The hours of being open is a lie.
