I had a really wonderful customer service experience here. When I needed a different size of jeans help was gladly offered before I could even ask. I could hear the attendant helping many other customers too with a playful jolly… this mood made everyone’s shopping experience nice, I could tell, and I felt very comfortable and supported. I absolutely LOVE going to Madewell! Obviously the clothes are beautifully made and they make me feel stylish. However, Tim and Nancy are the real magic at the store. They are SO helpful and always make sure I leave with clothes I feel confident in. On several occasions they have picked out items for me to try on that I would never have picked out myself but end up absolutely loving. They’re amazing at what they do! If you’re looking to elevate your wardrobe, this is the store you have to go to!
I worked here for about a year (in two non-consecutive chunks) and I think it's the best part-time retail job. There are a lot of fun people who work there which can help make the shifts pass by pleasantly. If you love the clothes, it's a win-win situation because the employee discount is better than any other retail store's employee discount. This is the only Madewell store in the western NY area so I hope it stays there for a while!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! I bought a pair of Sherpa Slippers for my daughter and they intermingled the addresses-billing and send to. I paid $20.00 to have them sent to the correct address across the country and the Customer Service for the Company said, ":Not our fault , not our problem." They blamed it on me! When I had the information right in front of me. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
