I visited the store 15 minutes before closing on New Year's Eve, and I was genuinely impressed by the staff's kindness and willingness to help. As someone who's been struggling to find the perfect jeans postpartum, I was pleasantly surprised by how every salesperson went above and beyond to assist me. I just went to Madewell for the first time and I had a great experience. I loved the jeans and the store layout but the best thing was the helpful pleasant salesperson, Alex Mataix. She helped me get my size right and let me know about all the current promotions. I have a hard time finding the sizes I need when buying jeans, she made it fun and seamless.

Ally was very nice over the phone, but the customer service was just one shade off unpleasant in person. One employee in particular tried to give me a hard time for exchanging my jeans. Have had much better experiences at the Manhattan store locations. I also came to wonder if they were not used to assisting racially diverse clientele.

My wife was impressed with the quality of the clothing at this store in Roosevelt Field and even more so with the excellent customer service -- Javi was so helpful and personable.

Visited today 6/23, store was empty with the exception of myself and my two daughters. The reception in this store was cold, we asked for a particular dress and the response was , “we don’t have it” she did not follow up with any suggestions. We walked out .. terrible!!! Won’t shop here again
