These guys made what I thought was the impossible, possible. Took my old family heirloom that was damaged during some home reno and were able to bring it back BETTER then it was when I inherited it! The work was incredible and I was throughly impressed with the communication and end product. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get the classic pieces restored.
I had 2 pieces restored and refinished: a dresser and a cedar chest. Both items are over 60 years old and had some damage. I highly recommend Mad Hatter. Tony Vuolo and his team beautifully restored and refinished both items. Tony even made a very helpful suggestion regarding the stain color. I am very pleased with the work.
All I can say is…Absolutely Fantastic!!! Tony Vuolo is delightful, professional and he did an amazing job on refinishing and repairing a barrister bookcase, and repairing an antique mirror. My mom gave me the pieces and, so they are sentimental. Tony came over to view the items and give me and estimate. He picked up the items, he did his magic and he returned the items in 2 weeks. I am extremely satisfied with the refinishing work done on our dresser and armoire. Both pieces were very badly damaged as they were over 100 years old. Tony and the Mad Hatter team did an excellent job restoring these pieces. From beginning to end, Tony was extremely professional and pleasant. I definitely recommend Mad Hatter and will use them again.
I am blown away by the honesty and graciousness of Tony and Greg. I brought in a very sentimental rocking chair from my late grandmother. They checked it out for me and even went above and beyond to look up replacement parts for it. Tony suggested I buy the parts and take my father up on his offer to fix it as it would be much more cost efficient. It is so rare to find honest businesses like this.
