Staff ignored us. Place still feels like a barn.
Thank you to Amy who went above and beyond to help me find the coat I had seen at another Macpac shop but forgot the name of. She then proceeded to show me options as they were out of stock of the coat I had first been keen on. As nothing took my eye she found the last one in my size at another store and rang for them to hold it for me. Such a friendly and genuine person, an asset to Macpac Petone.
I visited Macpac Petone around 12pm on Sunday (26 April) with my wife and two young kids (aged 5 and 2), and the experience was extremely unpleasant. A lady staff member approached me early on saying she was “looking for kids to ensure they are being monitored and trackable.” That already felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
