Went in to look at down jackets, had the absolute best help from Glen, and some great chats about trail running and other activities to do nearby. Highly recommend just due to the helpful staff
Excellent Macpac shop. A large selection of hiking clothing and gear. The shop had 50% discounts for most of the clothing. There is a downstairs part of the shop that has a selection of bags and extra discounted items. Great place to shop for hiking adventures in Blue Mountains.
Finding myself in Katoomba, I found the Macpac store! In it, I found the rain jacket of purity for my 1200km pilgrimage around Shikoku Japan. I am up to temple 22 and there are 66 more to go! The white rain jacket is a perfect match for Henro (pilgrim) clothing. It is not super light, but it breathes, is durable and waterproof enough to keep me warm and dry. Thank you Macpac Katoomba for this item!... I saw nothing like it in your other establishments
We usually do not shop in outdoor shops however my husband and I were desperate for some shorts. The service was amazing, friendly, nothing was too hard and we left very happy with shorts and we would be back anytime. Thank you
