Hired Robert MacKenzie of MacKenzie Land Law to help me appeal the tax assessment of my property. Although the deadline was in mid June 2012, we agreed that he would have it ready for me by June 1st. All I got was a 'draft' which was just a letter listing the points that I'd sent him. No correlation to the law and no case law was cited. Anyway, I felt that getting him to file the appeal would do more harm than good so I terminated his service. After two weeks and $500 wasted, now I have to find someone else.
