I wish I would have read these reviews before I decided to purchase an appliance from MacDonalds furniture and appliances. The worst customer service I have ever received. I initially ordered a Bosch Convection wall overnight/convection microwave from Home Depot. They were supposed to deliver so we removed our old appliances, only to discover that the item had not been received a would not be delivered anytime soon. Bought multiple pieces of furniture and used the delivery service too. The experience from beginning to end was smooth! The young sales lady was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Within 48 hours our furniture was delivered and the two delivery men were exceptionally helpful - even moved our old furniture to new locations in our house. We highly recommend Macdonald’s for their well-priced furniture, and superb service!
We were in need of a new washer and dryer for our home on a short timeline. We researched an Electrolux pair (ELFW7637AT & ELFE763CAT) online ahead of being recommended the same one by sales manager Matthew Hall, as well as my parents. When we stopped by the store, Matthew was incredibly helpful with more info on the machines and best ways to keep it working well over time, and we had MacDonalds deliver the set and remove our old ones within a couple of days, with everything needed to start them up right away. Apparently new ownership has taken a different approach to customer service. They don't stand behind their products and won't take your case to the manufacturer. I bought a product (spent over $10k) and when I told them it did not have features I expected (never told this during the sales process), the manager said it was just "buyer's remorse". My product is the worst performing I have ever owned! I would recommend that you also avoid "buyer's remorse" by never buying anything from Macdonalds!
We took my mom shopping for new furniture after her renovations in her condo. The customer service we received from the staff was fabulous and they were incredibly patient while we selected two couch units that had pull out beds in both. Once my mom had received the furniture, the colour and material matched her decor impeccably UNTIL we sat on the couches.
