My favorite place. Wood is good!
Most useless employees. 4 men standing around in the warehouse looking at their phones. Would not answer questions and pawned off their duties onto the next guy.
Macbeath's typically has the best prices in the bay area for hardwood, sheet goods and woodworking tools, finish and more. My salesman MG and my delivery driver Joel always go above and beyond. Highly recommend.
Good selection of lumber at something of a premium. Great for hobbyists, but it's kinda like buying milk at 7-11 - convenient, but expensive for what you get. If I need any substantial quantity, I go elsewhere.
Selection seemed good but the guy behind the counter was a grump, left me with a sour taste. Maybe he should work in the warehouse instead?
