As a new owner of a used boat, I had a problem with my AC. I call Mabru and an experienced technician answered the phone (no operator, no waiting on hold). I described my problem and he was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I ordered the necessary part which I easily installed and my AC is running perfectly. Really impressed with these guys! Great service!
So very few companies that exist in today's world actually surprise me on their customer service. I can't even begin to say how impressed I am with Mabru and their level of experience and commitment to customer satisfaction. When I was having issues with my unit, they made every effort to come out and fix it on site at no charge so that I had a perfectly running unit for my boat. Their marine AC units break. I have 4 units on our boat. 2 mabru and 2 dometic. Nothing but problems with mabru. The dometics are far from perfect but they work. Mabru customer service/tech support is poor. When you do get someone to respond good luck getting resolution. Warranty is poor, they tend to not honor it. Save yourself a ton of grief and buy something that is not mabru. From mabru (yeah guys because it keeps breaking) We did some more research. Update- Mabru worked with me to upgrade the mother board to one that will control the fan as the manual shows. It works like it should now. If this is important to you I would ask about it. I don't know if anything changed regarding the breaker tripping after overheating if the strainer gets clogged though. Thanks Jim, I appreciate the help.
