Down on my luck in 2015 and this place took total advantage of me and ignored all my requests to refund my 10k retainer when I fired them for mixing me up with another client, taking money from my trust account without providing statements that justified the charges and not returning my phone calls. I had to file a complaint with the state bar and wait quite some time before Mr. Maasen refunded what was left of my retainer with a statement of his services and charges that I felt we’re way to much for the small amount of work... read more

Select an attorney that is not charged with bankruptcy fraud and already found guilty of numerous ethical violations. He will take your money and lie.
He Stole $3500 from me. He said he needed $7000 retainer. Thank god I talked them down to $3500. So I paid it to speed the process up and had never met him or signed any paperwork. Then he did nothing. I mean nothing. I tried stopped by by his office random, numerous phone calls, emails. Still nothing. Asked for my money back and still nothing. Worst person ever karma will get him.
Scott Maasen and his partners are excellent attorneys who know the best way to fight your DUI. I know many people who have used them and all have had excellent results. Definitely use them if you are in the unfortunate position of having to fight a DUI in the Scottsdale or Phoenix area.
