The actual experience does not match the promotional video they send out to get you to sign up for Family Adventure camp. Wanna do horse back riding? We don’t have that this year. Betcha can’t wait to do some zip lining right? You can’t, your kid will get stuck. Up for doing some pottery or leather working? How about paint a rock instead? I am editing my review to express a bit more professionalism. My prior review was petty, and was written through a sarcastic and sardonic lens. In reality from what I saw from camp it was great, because of the staff who return year after year. What matters is that we get campers and adults to continue attending. If the changes I see as negative actually increase attendance then it’ll be worth it to keep this camp open another season. Many changes I do still see as unfortunate and unnecessary. Spent a week here with our troop at west camp. Facilities and staff were excellent.
We just finished our second summer camp here and it was even more amazing than the first! The staff is fantastic! They really go above and beyond to make the week memorable for the kids, and leaders!! All of us can’t wait to come back next year! Special thanks to Vector, Alice, Choppa, Sigma, Tayston, and the always amazing Cool Whip!! See you all in 2027!!
