I love the staff! Especially their FUN nicknames and messages in the dining hall! Without these elements that make the staff memorable, this would be just another dying summer camp! They are the best of the best staff and it’s these type of things that make them whole and make me want to come back! The weekly themes and campwide games are so creative! I can’t wait to return and see what SHENANIGANS they are getting into!

Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan has two complete camps, East and West. The combined size of the camps allows program to include a horse ranch, high adventure trips, zip line, climbing wall, in addition to all of the traditional program areas. Nice platform tents keep you dry. Nice pit toilets in each campsite with flush toilets not far away. Excellent solar lighting in the latrines.

I started scouting an early 80s first year at camp was in 93. My last year was in 98. I was there for a big storm in 97. Never believe I would be here again with my kids. I had a blast you guys are awesome thank you for everything east camp but when I went, I was at West Camp.
