My experience with Matthew (and his team) was nothing short of exceptional! He and his team are consummate professionals who are communicative, friendly, prompt and goes above the call of duty. Matt was available for any questions that arose and ensured we had a thorough understanding of everything that was going on and needed to be done. We recently used Matthew for both the sale of our home and then purchase of condo a few months later. Matthew and his team are very attentive and care about their clients. When closing on our purchase was delayed 24hr beyond our control, Matthew, Marina, and Wajih were quick to provide updates regularly and were working tirelessly to resolve the issue with the lender and other parties resulting in a super quick close early the next morning. I cannot recommend them enough.
Matt Gibson is extremely knowledgeable on real estate matters and generous to share his expertise with fellow lawyers. He has guided me through some tricky real estate transactions (and I have been practicing law for over two decades) that I needed a second opinion on. I appreciate his mentorship and would not hesitate to refer files to him (particularly on mortgage enforcement) on areas that are not covered by my firm.
I was purchasing a house and was suggested to use mathew as my lawyer. He did not read the papper work to find out who he was representing and addressed me as the other party I corrected him on this my realtor corrected him on this and my morgage broker corrected him on this he then sent me more documents to sign and when I went to sign them it told me it could not be completed as it was addressed to the wrong person again. This is insanely unprofessional. I would not go with him as my lawyer and will be switching my lawyer.
Matt and his secretary did an amazing job for the transfer of my mortgage. They were always patient and professional, and I always felt comfortable through the whole process. What really stood out was that the entire process was done through zoom, on my iPad, and that their fees at the end were very much under my own estimate.
