Customer service was great. She walked me to the item I needed and showed me more items I needed.
I came into the store on little road in New Port Richey Florida today and I purchased a few items I was also having a bad day but...the cashier by the name of ...Shirley greeted me with a smile and she was also very polite and kind to me which just made my whole day .So ...thank you Shirley

Ace hardware in Hamilton,Oh is awesome ! Tom the manager and Freddie the employee went out of their way to help me with my Weber grill ! You walk in their store and the employees are ready to help you ! My local ACE avoids helping the customer and you have to walk around the store to try to locate what you need ! This is normal in home depot and lowes ! That's what ACE has to offer ! I appreciate Tom's store ! Awesome for today's times ! I will make Tom's store a priority for my hardware store !
If you are really stuck and you really need to get a job done and you simply can not wait to go to Home Depot or to Lowes, Ace may indeed be your place. However, expect to be ripped off and overcharged. Today, I paid $2.99 each for two 7/8" diameter, common hose clamps that sell elsewhere for $1.50-$1.75 each. Next time I need hardware, I really need to stop and ask myself, "Can this wait? Do I really want to knowingly be screw--d over and taken advantage of?" Really? Probably not!
It has become very common in Lander to be charged more at the register than the item is marked on the shelf. Now I got double charged on my credit card even though I have a credit receipt on paper for the accidental second charge. Pay attention folks. Otherwise you will be taken advantage of.
As a local landscaper and handyman I rely on ace to have common parts. Ace should change their name to Ace ornamental! They seem to care more about yard art and gifts than hardware. Once again your store has failed me. I stopped by to get supplies for a big irrigation project for my customer. You don't have a end cap for .700 irrigation tubing. That is pathetic considering its the most common size. You have em for .710 but not .700
If I could give ZERO stars I would. I called ahead to get a 125 feet of 2-2-4 wire and had my wife go pick it up. They gave me 125 feet of 2-0 wire. I called and asked for a manager and explained the situation asked to please let me exchange it that I was given the wrong one. He continued to argue with me saying it’s not their problem and then hung up on me. Over $525 in wire and won’t exchange when it was their fault??? And then have the nerve to hang up on me??
