At one period of time Lyric Financial was a heaven sent opportunity for indie artists like myself who needed additional capital to fund our career and make a living. Things have not been so great or pleasing in the recent months though. Since the buyout from Utopia Music, things have changed and not for the better. 2x's in the past 90 days they have withheld advances/money that was meant for creators. This company is a huge scam. They recoup money automatically but when it’s time to pay out it’s always an “error”. People have been waiting a month for their money and they claim they are fixing an “issue”. They never have system failures when they recoup money. It’s everytime it’s time to payout. Never seen anything like this from a company. Don’t trust this company and don’t use this company if you were thinking about it
