We're an independent bake shop located on 64 Avenue & 144 St. in Surrey, and are proud to be the favourite for locals to meet friends for a dessert or call for party trays or savoury treats, delivered straight to their home. I've stopped here 4 times in the last month at different times and different days and they're always closed. It's currently 11am on a Saturday...closed.
If you're looking for a special cake (or even a tasty tester slice) I would highly recommend Lyra Lou Cakes in Surrey. I wanted something summer - fresh fruit, not chocolate, not sponge. I tried 5 different bake shops, and the mango mousse cake was just the one. One of the folks who got to try called it the "best cake ever", another "epic". Their posted hours are not true. I drove 25 minutes out of my way and the store was closed.
I dropped by the store today and ordered 2 halo halo. They looked good on the outside but there was hardly anything inside. Mostly ice, ube halaya and vanilla ice cream on top. There were 2 beans, a bit of gelly, that's it. Not worth it for the price. You guys can do better. Put some more beans, banana, gellis, and all those good stuff next time.
