Back in my day, a nursing home knew how to do things right. This place? Don’t get me started. I walked into Linwood Nursing Home and the first thing I noticed was the smell like overcooked cabbage fighting a losing battle with cleaning chemicals. I’ve smelled better air in a bowling alley in ’72. The TV was blasting some nonsense nobody asked for, the chairs were so uncomfortable they could straighten a hunchback, and the thermostat was clearly set by someone who enjoys watching others suffer. Was at Lynwood Manor today helping take photos of the residents. Had a great time the staff was so caring you could tell the staff loved the residents and that the residents loved and cared about the staff. What a great experience.
