Very friendly and professional in the Transition Care department. There are lots of qualified and caring staff. The building is well designed for the purpose. They even have a cafeteria and visitor gift shop. It is all managed by the book. Some TCU facilities seem poorly staffed and barely qualified.
Still sick after a week .. my brother Thomas and he wants proof of pneumonia, covid, Rsv shot for elderly with stoke. Please watch over he needs better care. This is neglect. So sad .. I transferred him and now he wants to go back but no room. Please be careful whenever you choose .. the smaller facilities I think best. Plus report any maltreatment or neglect.. they won’t even call me back when requested at times. I am a strong advocate and believe in speaking up for change in any case. I pray for him daily . Only about 25% of the nurses actually care there. My grandma was repeatingly telling the nurses about my grandpa's cough and they did nothing about it until he had to get sent to the ER. At the er they found out he had pneumonia and influenza. We also came there one morning and he was COVERED with feces and when we went to talk to the head nurse about it she asked what the problem was and while I'm and my grandma were in the middle of telling her she answers the phone. Absolute abhorant and negilligent care.
When my girlfriend was there for transition care they treated her kindness and very helpful no regrets
One thing that stands out for me from my 6-week stay at Lyngblomsten rehabilitation hospital is how I was supported in every aspect of my care. Everyone had a professional, cheerful attitude which helped me keep my spirits up. The quality of care was excellent, from nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to the comfort care I received from nursing aides and dining room staff.
