My mother in law is there. Just got sent there yesterday and she has a huge brain tumor on her brain that is causing many issues. At this point she can’t even hold a drink or eat by herself and when my wife went up to staff and told them she hasn’t eaten because she can’t hold anything the staff told her “you feed her” I’m sick over this. No compassion what so ever. Caregivers are very attentive and compassionate. The support staff are very supportive and in tune with everything going on with the patient’s care. Thank you for taking care of my mom.
My wife was sent there yesterday the place calls itself a rehab center nursing home. Admittedly she got there after 4pm. They gave her a piece of toast with a can of peas cold for her dinner.. the place is downright spooky. There were a few old people sitting in wheelchairs scattered around not doing anything. And when I spoke to them they turned their heads like they were scared. My wife was placed in a double room by herself. Till they put some one else in there. This Community is so diverse and vibrant! There have been so many changes and I can’t wait to see how amazing it is later as things keep getting better and better. It is so nice that the facility is agency free and has so many staff members who really care! The memory care has my heart and it is so reassuring as someone who had family with dementia in a facility to see them cared for so well.
They never answer the phone and I’ve tried calling at all hours and days of the week.
