So we were working with them on a loan. When you go to their website, it's says Loan's, it's what we do. So ok, we didn't get approved for what we were looking for, but rather than call or email and tell us we were ghosted. Daily emails for almost 3 weeks and then NOTHING. Nothing at all. At least say there was nothing that can be done, or maybe suggest another option. Especially if loans are your thing, would we have been better suited for another type or something?!?! We applied for a commercial mortgage with Luzerne Bank. The process dragged on for months. The loan officers could not construct a properly worded & punctuated email. They could not return a phone call in a punctual manner. If you are looking for professionalism, do yourself a favor and find a different bank. called this morning to ask about the use of a notary, we had used bank before when needed but our branch closed, told them that it was for a legal form in new york about my wife's mothers estate. i was asked does the bank handle the estate? no, the estate is in new york, but we have a business acct and personal accts at the bank. i was then politely informed that unless it has specifically to do with luzerne bank that a notary is not available. we were not asking for free use, we would have paid. nope. at this time when ... read more

Recently had opportunity to purchase on eBay. Gave my luzerne debit card. Declined. Called up and luzerne has issue saying PayPal fraud problems. Called PayPal. No problem there called eBay seller top rated. Called back bank. They would not allow payment. Who are they. My mother? Suggestion over phone was to use a different banks card. My father recently passed away. The branch manager, KROLL, sent my family a letter which was dated the day of my father’s funeral advising his estate that he had a loan that needed to be paid off. Terrible customer service. Can’t wait to close every account he has with them. Should be ashamed!!!!!
