Had my boat for 5 months and didn't do anything. l got it back 3 days ago. It's in much worse shape than when I got it to him. Carlos ran off and disappeared with my $5k deposit. I have filed a police report and will be filing a civil suit against him.
I gave owner, Carlos, $2800 as a deposit for a convertible top for a mini cooper. That was 3 months ago. He ghosted me. And when he did respond , he kept making excuses. Do not trust this owner or his business. I was told there were 2 other people that had the same issue. I feel like I had been robbed and scammed.
After only a few years these seats are already tearing at the seems. We take really good care of our boat. Paid extra for custom snap on covers to protect them. The buttons on the back cover started falling off within the first month. The owner said he would come back and switch them all out... That still hasn't happened. After the first few calls to complain during the month after I finally figured I'd just deal with it. Pay the extra, go to someone that wants more than just you money.
He took my deposit of 2500 and then ghosted me. Do not use this crook.
This was the worst business i have ever delt with. I was replacing the seat coverings and a sunbrella and inclosure for a 27 ft. Boat. They asked for money up front for product ($200500.) and said they put me on a schedule for two weeks to start.. they never showed up until I called and called again to finaly get them there.
